The government has opened applications to fast-track consents for economic development proposals with national or regional impact.Applications have a month, until May 3, to submit projects that could either be listed for immediate referral to an expert panel for fast-track consideration or to ministers to consider referral to an expert panel.The Ministry for the Environment (MfE) will be the first recipient of applications from both the public and private sectors.The process will be shepherded by officials from MfE and the Ministry for Business...
