Trade minister Todd McClay is hoping to make at least a small dent in the world’s annual $851 billion of agricultural subsidies when he heads to next week’s World Trade Organisation meeting in Abu Dhabi.McClay will be a vice-chair at the organisation’s 13th ministerial conference from Feb 26 to Feb 29, along with ministers from Cameroon and Panama, and will be chairing the all-important agricultural sessions. The minister will also be chairing sessions on renewing a moratorium on cross-border tariffs for e-commerce.The wh...
