The NZ Embassy in Washington will raise NZ’s concerns over tariffs to the United States Trade Representative, Trade Minister Todd McClay saysHe said the embassy has been told to “raise both our concern over the effect tariffs will have and also to clarify that New Zealand’s average tariff rate for US imports is 1.9%".“That has been done over the weekend.”NZ was hit by a baseline 10% tariff, with the US claiming the NZ tariff on US goods was 20%.According to estimates, a 10% tariff on US goods exports to the US...
