New Zealand farmers aren’t the only ones grappling with new environmental rules, with the latest protests in the Netherlands having an impact on both Mainfreight and Fonterra.The two companies have operations in the country where farmers once again took to the streets to protest the government’s nitrogen policy, which is aimed at slashing nitrogen oxide and ammonia by 50% by 2030. Farmer groups have been protesting the government plan for months, arguing it will drive as many as 30% of farms under.Footage from Sky News showed l...
