Fonterra narrows full-year forecast

Fonterra has narrowed its forecast earnings guidance to 25-to-35 cents per share from 20-to-35 cents per share.Last year it posted full-year earnings per share of 24 cents for the 12 months to July 31.The cooperative is to announce a first-half result on March 17, but today said it has enough information to update full-year guidance.Chief executive Miles Hurrell said the narrower range still reflects “the usual uncertainties we face over the course of any given year”.Fonterra is expecting its earnings performance to b...
