Forest owners, processors, officials and educators met today to identify training and recruitment priorities for the sector as the economy emerges from the covid-19 lockdown. The Forestry and Wood Processing Workforce Council was formed earlier this year to tackle skill shortages in parts of the sector and to plan for a five-year increase in activity.
