The impact of significantly higher input costs and the ownership review in Australia will be key standouts in Fonterra’s half-year result on Thursday.In December, the co-operative said earnings before interest and tax were down $60 million to $190m in the three months to Oct 31 on higher input costs. Whole milk powder prices alone were up 30% on the year.  Rising inputs also saw it lower the top end of its forecast earnings range in December. Fonterra said it expected earnings of 25 cents to 35c a share versus a prior view of 25...
