Oji Fibre Solutions will stop paper production at the Kinleith Mill, resulting in the loss of around 230 jobs.The Japanese-owned company informed workers at its Tokoroa site on Friday morning.Oji first proposed stopping paper manufacturing at the mill and focusing solely on pulp last November, a month after it confirmed the closure of its Penrose paper mill, which resulted in the loss of some 75 jobs.In a statement on Friday morning, Oji chief executive Jon Ryder said the company would permanently shut its PM6 paper machine at Kinleith at...
