New Zealand isn’t backing down in a stoush with Canada over dairy exports. NZ today requested a panel be set up to hear its dispute against Canada over the administration of dairy tariff rate quotas (TRQ), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade said.It is NZ’s first dispute under a free-trade agreement, and the first any party has taken under the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP).
