New Zealand Rural Land Co has clinched its first deal buying 14 Van Leeuwen dairy farms out of receivership for $114 million and leasing them back to the Dutch migrant.Director Chris Swasbrook said NZ Rural Land Co had conducted due diligence on the South Canterbury and North Otago farms for four months before signing the conditional agreement to buy the land.
