Sentiment among Synlait Milk’s South Island suppliers has increased “significantly”.But the processor is giving them time to make up their minds on whether they want to stay or go, its head of on-farm excellence says.The milk processor increased its forecast farmgate milk price to $9 per kilogram of milk solid (kgMS) less than a month after it last lifted its price.Its new forecast is now in line with Fonterra’s forecast midpoint.
