Westland Milk Products has reported a total loss of $34.7 million for its 2024 financial year.The West Coast dairy processor was hit by a non-cash negative $47.8m movement in cash flow hedges, which saw it dip into the red from a $62.5m profit in the 2023 year.It made a loss from continuing operations of $431,000, impacted by a $13.1m tax expense.Revenue, however, increased to $1.15 billion in the 12 months to December 2024, up from $1.06b, according to its accounts lodged on the Companies Office.A 10c premiumThe company, owned by China’s...
