Sale numbers and house prices continued to drift lower last month, reflected in an 18.3% drop in the number of sales and a 5.8% year-on-year decline in the national house price index.That was most pronounced in Auckland, where overall sales numbers dropped 38.9% from 2,418 to 1,477, according to data from the Real Estate Institute (REINZ).
