Christchurch’s new stadium will be a big boost to the New Zealand events industry when it opens in 2026, Mark Kneebone, the local managing director of Live Nation, says.The 30,000-seat venue with a roof is on track to be completed by April 2026.Live Nation is in the middle of British supergroup Coldplay’s NZ tour, with all three concerts being held at Eden Park in Auckland.Kneebone said Coldplay may have gone south as well if the Christchurch stadium had been finished in time.He told the Property Council’s retail conference in...
