Tribunal ups City Rail Link compensation to Samson Corp
The City Rail Link must pay more compensation for the shops owned by Samson Corporation.

In a test case, the Land Valuation Tribunal has increased compensation to the wealthy Friedlander family for work associated with the City Rail Link (CRL) in Auckland.It has also given guidance, saying the owners of properties that have the rail tunnel running below it could get payments of between 5% and 10% of their capital value.This would mean Auckland Council and the government will have to fork out about $400 million at the top of the range of 10%.The CRL is a 3.45km underground twin rail tunnel that will allow Auckland’s rail netwo...
