A high court ruling could put Vero Liability Insurance on the hook for an $85 million claim by the Auckland Trotting Club (ATC), as part of the fallout from ATC's troubled 245-apartment Alexandra Park development in Epsom.The club launched proceedings against Vero and its own construction solicitors, Lane Neave, last October, in an effort to recoup part of an estimated $100m in losses on the project.
