Restaurant Brands' 2Q sales rise 2.3 percent on Pizza Hut, KFC

By Hannah Lynch Sept. 20 (BusinessDesk) - Restaurant Brands, which operates the local Pizza Hut, KFC and Starbucks brands, reported second-quarter sales rose 2.3 percent, led by an increase in Pizza Hut and KFC revenue. Total sales rose $2.2 million to $96.1 million in the 16 weeks ended Sept. 10, while same store sales increased 3.7 percent to $94.8, the company said in a statement.
