A plant-based food manufacturer backed by media company Stuff and All Black TJ Perenara has been put into liquidation.Justin Lemmens and Kyran Rei co-founded Sustainable Foods Limited (SFL) in 2018.The company, which makes the plan*t line of hemp-based meat alternatives, was placed into voluntary administration on Aug 23.At the time, Lemmens told the NZ Herald that Sustainable Foods aimed to raise between $500,000 and $1 million to enable it to continue trading in 2025.“SFL has been caught in a perfect storm,” he said then, referrin...
