While the current owner of discount retailer Pricewise is keeping mum on its liquidation, its original owner said he’s unsurprised given the changes made. Andrew Berryman founded Pricewise but the company was sold from receivership back in 2020 following disagreements with shareholder Polar Capital on how it was run.Polar Capital had a general security agreement that enabled it to trigger receivership, and it eventually took over. Polar Capital’s Colin Neal has declined to comment on the liquidation at this stage.When Pola...
