KiwiSaver provider and investment fund manager Simplicity has appointed Rob Everett as its new chair, effective July 1.Everett, who spent 18 years with investment bank Merrill Lynch in London, New York and Hong Kong, left his role as chief executive of New Zealand Growth Capital Partners (NZGCP) earlier this year at the end of his three-year term.Previously, he was the CEO of the Financial Markets Authority (FMA).NZGCP, which was established by the Government in 2002, manages two funds – Elevate and Aspire – that invest in venture c...
