Restaurant Brands said it has closed all 148 stores in New Zealand operating under the KFC, Pizza Hut, Carl's Jr and Taco Bell brands and Moa Group said it has closed all its hospitality venues because of the coronavirus crisis. However, Moa's beverages business has been rated an essential service and will continue operating through the nation's lockdown.  Restaurant Brands said the New Zealand stores will be closed for at least four weeks, the initial period of the lockdown.
