Stocks rallied around 2% in Europe and America overnight after bond markets settled somewhat.

TLDR: Global stocks are in a much better mood this morning as the dramas on bond markets settled and the inflationistas retreated somewhat. The Reserve Bank of Australia’s doubling of its daily bond-buying to push down on long-term interest rates helped lower rates on both sides of the Tasman. Meanwhile, there were no new covid-19 cases overnight and a group of business leaders want more clarity from the government on a path to ‘covid normal’.Tantrum over?
