$10b overseas revenue for NZ's top tech exporters

New Zealand’s top 200 tech exporters by revenue made $13.9 billion in 2021, up 11.5% on 2020, with $10.4b of that made overseas. Domestic sales by the 200 companies were down on 2020 with 25.5% of revenue made in NZ, with The rest was spread over Europe at 13.1%, Australia 25.7%, North America 22.5%, Asia 7%, and 6.2% in the rest of the world. Auckland remains the centre of the country’s tech industry, with 60% of the 200 firms based in the region making over half their total revenue at $7.9b.Wellington/Manawatu companies...
