Supermarket startup Supie has raised $2.5 million in an oversubscribed seed round led by Icehouse Ventures and supported by Enterprise Angels.The online-only service currently serves Auckland, and has more than 6,000 customers signed up, along with over 200 food partners.Founder Sarah Balle told BusinessDesk the target for the round was $1.5m but added interest meant the company raised more to allow itself longer before its next cash-raising round, which will be a series A next year.“The current funding round is to deploy technology withi...
