Rocket Lab has called for a national New Zealand space mission on the back of the country’s investment into its $26 million MethaneSAT programme.The Nasdaq-listed rocket launch and space services company is driving the government-sponsored space project to locate and measure global methane levels from the oil, gas and agriculture industries.That includes developing, managing and running the mission operations and space control centre for MethaneSAT in Auckland.
