The Ministry of Transport (MoT) is planning on resurrecting Auckland's failed light rail project, but former Auckland Transport (AT) chair Lester Levy is concerned politics may again cause its failure to launch.In 2017, Labour made several election promises, including building a light rail line to run between the Auckland CBD and Mt Roskill and to extend that to the airport within a decade.But four years later not a single light rail track has been laid.
