US financial markets are closed for the President’s Day holiday on Monday, while China’s markets were also shut for the Lunar New Year. Europe’s Stoxx 600 Index finished the day with a 0.6 percent drop from the previous close. Germany’s DAX Index retreated 0.5 percent, as did France’s CAC40 Index.
