Vector

Vector is a diversified infrastructure group, with a portfolio of energy and fibre optic networks.

They are New Zealand’s largest distributor of electricity with over 18,000 kms of overhead lines and underground cables. The company is also the largest distributor of piped natural gas and bottled LPG to customers in NZ.  In Auckland and Wellington, Vector provides high speed broadband through their fibre optic networks. To date the company has installed more than 1 million smart meters and has recently started building a network of EV chargers across Auckland.

Vector is one of the larger companies listed on the NZX with a market capitalisation of $4 billion and employing almost 800 people in 2020. Simon Mackenzie has been group CEO since 2008.
