Ascension Capital acquires Being Group, changes name to Being AI

Ascension Capital has successfully completed the acquisition of the Being Group of Companies and has issued all authorised shares.

As a result, the company now has 1,868,018,828 shares on issue.

The board of directors has also been updated.

Ascension's board will now consist of executive chair Sean Joyce, executive director and group chief executive David McDonald, executive director Katherine Allsopp-Smith, and independent directors Roger Gower and Joe Jensen.

The company will change its name on the NZX systems to Being AI, and its ticker code will be BAI, effective from the start of trading on April 2 2024.
