Rakon has announced the retirement of Lorraine Witten as director and chair of the board, and the election of Brent Robinson as the new chair.
Witten, who has been with the company since March 2017 and served as chair since April 2022, will step down on Nov 28, 2025.
Robinson, who has been with Rakon for over 44 years and previously served as managing director and CEO, will serve as chair until the close of the 2026 annual meeting.
The company said Robinson is not an independent director, but his experience was deemed important for leadership at this time.
Following Witten's retirement, the Rakon board will have five directors, three of whom are independent.
