Elaine Campbell named SkyCity's chief legal officer

SkyCity Entertainment Group has announced the appointment of Elaine Campbell as its chief legal, governance and external relations officer.

Campbell, who has extensive experience in heavily regulated environments, will assume the newly created role in March 2025, pending regulatory approvals.

She previously held positions at Chorus, AMP, the New Zealand Financial Markets Authority, the New Zealand Markets Disciplinary Tribunal, and NZX.

As a result of this appointment, Nirupa George, the current chief corporate affairs officer, will no longer be considered a senior manager under NZX Listing Rules from March 2025.

However, she will continue to lead SkyCity's corporate affairs activities.

George is scheduled to take parental leave in January 2025.
