Genesis Appoints Chief People Officer

Genesis Energy has today announced the appointment of Claire Walker as their new Chief People Officer (CPO).

Walker is set to begin her role on 3 April 2023, having previously held senior human resources positions at Sanford Limited, Carter Holt Harvey and Downer.

She is a graduate of Massey University and Christchurch College of Education, and is currently the Chief People and Culture Officer at SkyCity Entertainment Group.

Incoming Chief Executive, Malcolm Johns, expressed excitement for Walker's appointment alongside the wider Genesis team.

Sara Broadhurst has been appointed as interim CPO until Walker's arrival.
