The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) has announced that it is not currently considering any legislative changes regarding the economic regulation of airport services under Part 4 of the Commerce Act 1986.
This update comes after MBIE requested submissions on the effectiveness of the existing regulation.
MBIE also informed Auckland Airport that the Commerce Commission will be reviewing the disclosure requirements under the current information disclosure regulation.
Auckland Airport now considers the MBIE process to be complete.
