Gold mining company, New Talisman, has announced that it has secured a processing plant for its Talisman Mine.
The plant, which operates using modular gravity separation, can process 100 tonnes a day.
The purchase is conditional on a successful capital raise by New Talisman and an inspection of the plant, which is overseas.
The company has already paid a refundable 10% deposit to the vendor to hold the agreement for 60 days.
If the purchase proceeds, the plant is expected to be shipped to the Karangahake Gorge mine within 7-8 weeks, plus time for Customs clearance.
New Talisman intends to locate the plant at the processing site being prepared by Terra Firma.
The company is now awaiting a final decision from the Department of Conservation on its access arrangements to the Talisman Mine.
