For the purposes of NZX Listing Rule 3.20.1, Napier Port (NZX:NPH) announces today changes within its senior management team.

Kia Zia, General Manager Container Operations, has resigned to pursue new career opportunities.

Napier Port CEO Todd Dawson said: “On behalf of the Napier Port team, I would like to thank Kia for his commitment and contribution over the last two years. He has been a key member of the senior management team and has contributed significantly to Napier Port’s operational transformation during that time. I wish him all the best for the future.”

The effective date of Mr Zia’s resignation is expected to be the end of June 2022.

Napier Port also announces the appointment of Jo-Ann Young to a newly created role of Corporate Affairs Manager, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer. Ms Young was previously Communications Manager at Napier Port and will assume her new role during June 2022.

Mr Dawson said: “We are delighted to welcome Jo-Ann into Napier Port’s senior management team. With significant experience across a wide range of industries in New Zealand and internationally, Jo-Ann’s scope will incorporate internal and external communications, stakeholder and investor relations, and community engagement and sponsorship.”

Focusing on strategic priorities, Napier Port is also updating the titles of three senior managers during June 2022:

Andrea Manley assumes the role of GM Strategy and Supply Chain, aligning supply chain commercial activity to strategic out of region growth initiatives.

Michel de Vos assumes the role of GM Assets and Infrastructure, aligning asset management and procurement activity of fixed, floating plant and mobile fleets to sustainability, master planning and future operating model requirements and design.

Viv Bull assumes the role of GM People and Culture, to support future operational transformation and other changes.
