Booster is pleased to announce the addition of TamoRx, to the Booster Innovation Fund (BIF) portfolio.
TamoRx operates in the drug discovery part of the life sciences and medical sector. It specialises in the development of novel drugs which arm the immune system to help fight cancer. TamoRx was formed in 2021, and is classified as a seed stage, with its technology origins being from University of Auckland.
BIF has made a commitment to invest $193,000 in two tranches over the next 12 months, with the first allocation of $28,000 being settled this week and the balance estimated to be in April 2023. BIF invests alongside Brandon BioCatalyst, University of Auckland Inventors Fund and CureKids Ventures. Following settlement this week, TamoRx will represent 0.2% of BIF’s investment portfolio of 30 companies, and with a net asset value of over $12.7m.
Investors can continue to purchase units in BIF on the NZX or can subscribe for units in the fund as part of the process described in the fund’s Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) that is available at www.booster.co.nz
