Transportation technology services company EROAD Limited (NZX/ASX: ERD) today announces that Selwyn Pellett, EROAD’s non-independent, non-executive director, has resigned from the Board.

Mr Pellett’s resignation is due to unforeseen personal family reasons, and is effective immediately. While Mr Pellett had indicated an intention to retire as part of the Board’s ongoing refresh, these recent circumstances have accelerated his decision. Mr Pellett remains committed to the company as a shareholder and supportive of the Board and management.

“Merging Coretex with EROAD was, and remains, a career highlight for me. Combining the skills, experience, and innovation of two outstanding Kiwi companies to solve real customers’ challenges - with the scale needed to drive growth and better serve our customers – has been incredibly rewarding. This is what inspired me to continue as a director beyond the initial 12-month term.

“After 23 years on this journey, from founding a start-up to serving as a non-executive director, the time has come for me to step down - a decision brought forward by health issues within my immediate family. I remain committed to supporting EROAD and deeply grateful for the privilege of working alongside some of the brightest minds and most exceptional people in the industry” he said.

Mr Pellett has served on the Board of EROAD in several capacities. He was a member of the Finance, Risk and Audit Committee, the Technology Committee and the Nominations Committee.

EROAD Chair Susan Paterson said: “Selwyn has made valuable contributions to the company. He brought a wealth of experience to the Board, particularly in telematics, network security and supply chain. As a founder of Coretex, Selwyn has been instrumental in ensuring a smooth transition and successful integration between Coretex and EROAD. His deep understanding of both businesses has significantly contributed to the alignment of our strategic goals. The Board and I thank Selwyn for his 3 years of service on the Board.”

The Board has engaged a director search firm to identify a suitable candidate to fill this position.

Authorised for release to the NZX and ASX by EROAD’s General Counsel & Company Secretary, Ksenija Chobanovich.
