Only people with covid-19 and their household contacts will be required to isolate from the rest of the community from Friday, Feb 25, as the country moves to ‘phase 3’ of the government’s plan for reacting to the omicron outbreak.The shift comes as case numbers rise rapidly towards an expected peak in the next few weeks which will mean rapid antigen tests become the main way to test for exposure to the covid virus.This reflects the fact that there will be increased reliance on people both “self-reporting” and &ldq...
