Carmel Fisher to retire as director from Fisher-managed firms

Fisher Fund founder Carmel Fisher has announced her retirement as director from the boards of Kingfish, Barramundi and Marlin Global – the listed investment companies managed by her old firm. Her retirement is set to take effect on Aug 6 2021, following the Kingfish annual shareholders meeting for 2021.In a statement to the NZX, Fisher, who was director of Kingfish for 17 years, 15 years at Barramundi and 14 years at Marlin Global, said she was “proud to have launched and overseen” the companies.“While I have decided tha...
