The worst of the winter omicron wave appears to have passed, with covid-19 cases, hospitalisations and deaths at the lowest levels since February.At a Ministry of Health covid-19 update on Wednesday, deputy director general and head of the Public Health Agency, Dr Andrew Old, said he expected case numbers to keep falling in the coming weeks. "The seven-day rolling average of cases continues to trend downward across all regions, dropping 27% in the week to the fourth of September compared to the previous week," he said.Covid-19 ca...
