Liquidators for failed Christchurch cryptocurrency exchange Cryptopia have returned digital currency worth $400 million to account holders.The distributions are the first since 2019, when Cryptopia suffered a cyber-security hack that saw bitcoin (BTC), Dogecoin and other digital currencies stolen from the accounts of some 2.2 million customers worldwide.The latest announcement from the firm’s liquidators, GrantThornton, reports that some $400m has been traced and transferred to 10,000 or so user accounts following reconciliation of t...
