The Financial Markets Authority says a former employee of Heartland Bank traded shares in the group based on insider information. The former employee appeared in the Auckland District Court on Tuesday morning in what Heartland Bank said were issues related to the alleged insider trading, reportedly between July 2020 and February 2021.The FMA said the accused was a junior employee at the time of the trading. It alleged the person had also disclosed "material information" not generally available to the public. "The F...
