The Reserve Bank is asking accounting firm KPMG to conduct a wider review of the central bank's processes following the recent breach of a third-party file-sharing application it had been using.The KPMG review is in addition to the forensic and criminal investigations still underway.It will include a detailed assessment of the vendor-control environment and software development processes and procedures as well as a comprehensive RBNZ-wide review of information management practices."The recent attack on the externally-facing system used...
