Blue Planet Environmental Solutions is a waste player that doesn’t want rubbish going to landfill.It is setting up shop in New Zealand through the ownership of the third biggest waste company, Smart Environmental.Singaporean-headquartered Blue Planet officially took over the company last week, with big plans to process and treat more waste before it can get to landfill.The transaction got approval from the Overseas Investment Office (OIO) in October, implying a more than $100 million valuation as the deal does not involve sensitive land.B...
