Building materials supplier USG Boral has confirmed it will exit the New Zealand plasterboard market in November, with the loss of 45 jobs.USG Boral imports plasterboard, under its Sheetrock and Fiberock brands, ceiling systems and metal products into the trans-Tasman market. It has operated in New Zealand for four years and counts the Pacifica tower in Auckland, Christchurch Hospital and Westfield Newmarket as its major projects.In response to an enquiry from BusinessDesk, country manager Nick Youngman said the company will honour all exi...
