A building firm specialising in offsite manufacturing for government and iwi clients has opened a third factory in Feilding.Builtsmart, which was founded in 1982 by Phil Leather, has its main factory and office in Huntly as well as a second factory, a joint venture with local iwi, in Gisborne.On Thursday, the family-owned company opened its latest facility: a $14 million build on a 1.9-hectare site in Feilding.With 34 construction bays, the new factory takes capacity across the three sites to 110 bays, enabling Builtsmart to build up to 500 hom...
