Govt reaches post-quake anchor project deal in Chch

Christchurch rebuild agency Ōtākaro is expected to finish a post-quake anchor project next year after the government reached a deal with a major car dealer.Miles Group, which operates Toyota, Lexus and Volkswagen dealerships on a large block of land in the central city, took court action against the Crown in 2018 seeking to remain on the site, which was needed by the government for the south frame project.The south frame includes a series of laneways, gathering spaces and a central ‘greenway’ – a cycle and pedestrian corridor...
