Port of Tauranga pushed up profits after tax by 15.4% to $102.4 million for the 12 months to June 30, on the strength of a 14% jump in the number of logs exported, and healthy returns from subsidiaries.The country’s largest port by export volumes said operating earnings were trimmed by ongoing supply chain disruption. That saw 106 fewer container vessel visits from September to June and a drop of 4% to 1.2 million twenty-foot-equivalent units (TEU) overall.Total trade, however, remained up 3.8% year-on-year, from 24.8 million to 25.7...
