School lunches: More complaints in one term than last four years, orders drop

The Ministry of Education received more complaints about the revamped school lunch programme in one term than it did over four years under the previous model. Last school term, the ministry recorded 407 medium to high-risk complaints related to meals provided by the School Lunch Collective, the main supplier for the new scheme. This surpasses the 405 complaints received from all 156 suppliers combined between 2021 and 2024, according to data released under the Official Information Act (OIA).Orders fall While earlier delivery woes...
