A Palmerston North accounting firm has notified the Office of the Privacy Commissioner after it was the target of a cyberattack that reportedly resulted in the theft of nearly 1,000 customers’ personal details.Cyber sector media organisation Cyber Daily reported that Bennett Currie's clients had personal information stolen, including valid credit card details, passport and driver’s licence scans, and Inland Revenue Department (IRD) numbers. Data belonging to business customers, including financial statements, invoices, loan...
